The Ford Mobility Motoring Program provides up to $1,200 of
reimbursement toward the cost of installed adaptive equipment on any
new Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle and up to $200 on after-market
alert hearing devices, lumbar seats and running boards (when not
available as factory options). Total reimbursement is not to exceed
$1,200.
- For example: If the cost
of adding adaptive equipment is less than $1,200, your cash
reimbursement will be for the exact amount of the adaptive equipment.
To
be eligible for reimbursement, initiation of the adaptation must take
place within 12 months of the dealer-reported date of sale or lease,
and be claimed within 12 months of that date.
Your
Ford dealer will assist in processing your claim for reimbursement.
They will need a copy of the "Vehicle Bill of Sale" and the "Paid
Adaptive Equipment Invoice." The invoice should clearly state the
equipment dealer/installer information, show the VIN of the vehicle,
detail the adaptive equipment installed and the cost of each item. It
should also show payment by the owner of the vehicle.
